David Jones, President and Partner of Corexplore Drilling Services

David Jones is President and Partner of Corexplore Drilling Services.  

David has 30 years of diverse experience in the mineral exploration and development industry, including finance, project management, and government liaison at federal, provincial, and municipal levels.  

Prior to founding Corexplore, David served as Business Development Officer for Foraco Canada and Drillco Mining and Exploration.

Eric Tremblay, Director of Operations for Canada and the United States

Eric Tremblay joined the Corexplore team as Director of Operations for Canada and USA. He was formerly the Director of Operations for Foraco Canada (2018 - 2026), where he specialized in deep surface directional drilling and underground operations.

Eric was responsible for the following projects:

Vale (Voisey’s Bay) - Managed the full start-up and ran 5 underground and 8 surface drills
Vale (Thompson, Manitoba) - Managed the full start-up and ran 8 underground drills
Vale (Sudbury, Ontario) - Managed project piloting two PQ +85-degree holes for raise bore pilot
Lakeshore Gold (Timmins) – Managed two different projects piloting directional PQ hole for paste fill.

Prior to working for Foraco, Eric was Underground Manager for Boart Longyear in Red Lake, Ontario. When working for Boart Longyear, Eric was responsible and managed up to 32 underground drills.

We work with leading mining and exploration companies — including McEwen Mining, Aston Minerals, Metals Creek, and Talon Resources — across base metals, gold and precious metals, and uranium projects. From program design and equipment selection through completion, our experienced supervisors and crews are built to reach target depth on schedule and with minimal site disturbance.

Corexplore Drilling and Globexplore Drilling are separate companies operating in different jurisdictions, with the same controlling shareholders. The companies operate independently of each other, with separate boards of directors, employees, equipment, and operations. Together, the principals bring decades of combined experience and have overseen more than 5 million metres of drilling across the exploration industry.
